Google DeepMind Forms Five-Firm Global Consulting Alliance and Signs Seoul AI Campus Pact With South Korea — Accenture, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, and McKinsey gain early Gemini access to bridge the 25% enterprise production gap while DeepMind establishes an AI Campus with South Korea Ministry of Science and ICT.

Google DeepMind announced two major institutional initiatives on Sunday, October 18, forging an enterprise transformation alliance with the world's five largest management consulting firms while signing a national artificial intelligence pact with South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT). Under the enterprise program coordinated with Bay Area cloud hubs on Spear Street in San Francisco and Bishop Ranch in San Ramon, Google DeepMind is partnering with Accenture, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Deloitte, and McKinsey & Company. Corporate boards, IT department executives, and economic development councils across San Francisco, Oakland, San Ramon, and Concord noted the twin agreements accelerate both commercial and scientific deployment.

Industry studies cited in the announcement project that artificial intelligence could contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030, yet only 25 percent of enterprise organizations have successfully moved AI pilots into full-scale production to date. To close that 75 percent execution gap, the five consulting partners will receive early access to frontier Gemini models and direct briefings connecting DeepMind research leadership with client chief executives and corporate boards. Joint engineering teams will build vertical solutions tailored for banking and finance, advanced manufacturing, retail, and media and entertainment.

In a parallel international milestone under Google DeepMind's National Partnerships for AI initiative, the laboratory signed a formal collaboration agreement with the Republic of Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT following Co-Founder and CEO Demis Hassabis's meeting with President Lee Jae-myung in Seoul. As a centerpiece of the agreement, Google will establish a dedicated AI Campus inside its Seoul offices to serve as a collaborative hub for Korean universities, national laboratories, and student internship programs. Over 85,000 researchers in South Korea already utilize DeepMind's AlphaFold protein-structure platform.

Through the Seoul AI Campus, researchers will apply frontier scientific models—including AlphaFold, AlphaGenome, AlphaEvolve, AI Co-Scientist, and WeatherNext—to national priorities in life sciences, clean energy, and climate forecasting. In addition, Google DeepMind will collaborate directly with the Korean AI Safety Institute (AISI) and California safety evaluation boards to align testing protocols and responsible deployment standards. East Bay and Silicon Valley trade commission officials emphasized that cross-Pacific safety alignment streamlines software exports for Bay Area startups.

Enterprise technology leaders, academic fellows, and policy analysts can review the consulting partner framework and international research documentation online at deepmind.google. Questions regarding Bay Area executive briefings or cloud deployment workshops may be directed to the San Francisco center at 345 Spear Street or by calling (415) 736-0000 between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
