Concord Expands Todos Santos Plaza Autumn Harvest Farmers Market and Double-Value Market Match
Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association and city health partners add twelve winter-crop growers and increase CalFresh produce matching to $20 per market visit.

The Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association and the City of Concord announced an expanded autumn and winter harvest lineup on Friday morning for the year-round Tuesday farmers market at Todos Santos Plaza along Willow Pass Road and Mt. Diablo Street. Beginning Tuesday, October 27, twelve additional certified family farms from eastern Contra Costa County, Solano County, and the San Joaquin Valley will join the downtown square, bringing late-season Fuyu persimmons, Wonderful pomegranates, delicata and butternut squash, organic brassicas, and pasture-raised eggs through the winter months. Market managers also confirmed that the Tuesday morning market hours of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM will operate continuously through December without holiday weather cancellations.
To strengthen household nutrition budgets ahead of the holiday season, a $95,000 community health grant from the John Muir Health Community Benefit Program and Contra Costa Health Services is boosting the plaza's Market Match incentive ceiling from $15 to $20 per market day through March 2027. Shoppers who swipe their CalFresh EBT card at the central information booth at Grant Street and Salvio Street now receive up to $20 in free matching wooden produce tokens valid at any fruit, vegetable, or culinary herb stall.
Senior residents aged 60 and older enrolled in the WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program can also redeem seasonal voucher booklets directly with participating orchardists, while bilingual nutrition educators from Monument Impact host free twenty-minute winter soup and root-vegetable cooking demonstrations at 11:30 AM each Tuesday. Excess unblemished produce remaining at the 2:00 PM closing bell is gleaned weekly by volunteers from the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for distribution at Concord neighborhood pantries.
Free two-hour parking remains available in the Grant Street and Salvio Pacheco municipal garages one block from the plaza. Residents can view the weekly seasonal crop chart, check EBT Market Match eligibility, or apply for artisan vendor stalls on the Concord Todos Santos Farmers Market Portal.
